I have lived in Alaska since 1973. My wife is a third generation Alaskan. Our children and grandchildren were born here. I’m not a big fan of winter, but I wouldn’t live anywhere else. Here are a few photos I have taken over the years of our amazingly beautiful state. Guess how far away the big white mountain (Mt. McKInley) is in the first photo? Answer: 110 miles. It’s impossible to convey the scale of the land here in a photo.
